Filters and Burn/Dodge

I got a box of ponys I was waiting 2 weeks for this week so I'm all happy-had my bday presant to myself in it ^^


So onto the pictures!

Burn

  • 400 fuzzy
  • midtones
  • 50% exposure

Dodge

  • 150 fuzzy
  • highlights
  • 50% exposure


Pointalize=>18
Film Grain

  • grain 8
  • highlight area 11
  • intensity 3

Diffuse=> darken only

Grain

  • intensity 87
  • contrast 20
  • grain type: horizontal



I rather like the eagle after the filters were applied; i had fun with that one ^^

You did a great job with the dodge and burn tool. It is amazing how much color you were able to bring out of both the green of the grass and the brown of the woodpile. The eagle filtering is good. In the first there is a horizontal grain of the siding...but in the second all of it has that horizontal grain element. Very sharp.

I love the eagle. It takes an everyday item that we are all used to seeing and turns up the funk a little bit.

Film grain is one of my favorite filters to play with. And you did a great job bringing out the green in the first photo.

Everything I was about to say has already been said, but I'll say it again I suppose.

You were really able to pull the green out of your lawn in that first photo. And your eagle completely brought me back to bunny-eared TV's and having to adjust them for better reception.
